MONETARY CIRCULATION
AND URBAN SITUATION IN TRANSYLVANIA

Abstract:

The author propose to study, based on the analysis of 96 hoards discovered in Transylvania, the movement of treasures in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. He accentuate the trade relations of Transylvania with the Czech, the Poland, the Germany, the Venice, the Ottoman Empire, Ragusa, Principality of Valachia. At the same time, the study highlight some aspects regarding the impact of trade on the development of urban settlements.
